FITNESS, FUN, AND JUDO FOR ANY EXPERIENCE LEVEL

Junior Class
Ages 10-14 / Fridays 4:30 - 5:30 pm
Age​s 7-9 may join with parent participation on the mat

Classes include:

  • How to fall safely (breakfalls in multiple directions)
  • Judo skills (throwing in multiple directions, combinations, groundwork transitions) 
  • Physical skil​ls (develop fitness and coordination)
  • Focus, self-discipline, and calm under pressure
  • Teamwork and leadership skills (with experience, a student may run a warmup or demonstrate a technique)

Senior Class
Ages 15+/Adult / Fridays 5:30 - 7:00 pm

Classes include:

  • How to fall safely
  • Improving fitness
  • Range of judo skills
  • Self-defence skills
  • Judo strategies

IMPORTANT FEE INFORMATION:

Judo BC Membership is required for insurance. The annual cost is $105 per participant and is valid from September 1 to August 31 of the follwing year. While registering with Judo BC please ensure you read and sign the waiver agreement.
Judo Gi is available for purchase through the instructors.
